Antique copper coal scuttle bucket
Also known as an ash bucket, it has such character. Lovely piece for a floral arrangement. It's solid copper with brass legs and a brass and wood handle. At the base of the handles are ornate brass lions heads. It was traditionally used for carrying hot coals to a stove or fireplace. The legs were an added feature that kept the heat from perhaps touching the Persian rug. Very old with the original patina still on it.
