Antique Handblown Glass Inkwell with Pewter Lid
This handblown glass inkwell dates from 1890-1920. It is well used—this was likely a mass marketed inkwell, and was clearly a part of a great deal of writing! That’s an integral part of its history. There’s white residue on the metal, residue and grime on the glass, a couple of scratches on the front of the lid’s base, and lots of scratching on the bottom of the glass. Great item, even so. 3” across base, 2-1/2” high.
